Thesis Title

Personalization in Robot-Assisted Gait Training Systems for Hemiparetic Patients

Research overview

Wearable robots  are one of the promising techniques in providing assistance for hemiparetic patients. In order to fully explore the WRs’ ability in providing assistance, which can adapt the each individual’s ability when they are aging, or improving over rehabilitation, this project aims to develop a customizable, wearable lower-limb robotic device for the gait rehabilitation of early-stage hemiparetic patients and experimentally validate its capability to improve the outcomes of robot-assisted gait therapy.
