Thesis Title

Flows past confined circular cylinders

Research overview

Flows past bluff bodies are highly relevant in many engineering scenarios, including the flow past a high rise building. However, in many cases the influence of nearby structures may influence the flow. Therefore, this research focuses on the effects of confinement on the flows past bluff bodies, particularly circular cylinders.
