Thesis title

Comparing Nickel Derivative Product Systems for Energy Transition

Research overview

In this research, I aim to explore the sustainability of critical minerals, focusing on nickel as a key metal driving the global energy transition. By comparing countries, I will investigate how different policy frameworks, industrial practices, and life-cycle systems influence the economic, environmental, and social dimensions of nickel derivative products. I seek to identify leverage points for better governance and sustainability outcomes. Through this study, I hope to contribute to developing responsible and resilient critical mineral management supporting Net Zero and circular economy goals.
