Ensuring manufacturability in AI-driven generative design
Research overview
Generative AI has been used prominently in Engineering Design, enabling design generation, and optimization of complex geometries. This research explores the use of Generative AI models to generate product designs that are optimized for manufacturability. By integrating these manufacturability constraints into the design process, this work aims to reduce the number of iterations, time spent, and cost associated with the process, while enhancing human-AI collaboration in the design process.
